Terms of Service
Last updated May 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Finvue, a software service operated by Finvue LLC ("Finvue", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Finvue, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Finvue is
Finvue is a software tool that helps bookkeepers and accounting professionals upload or import client financial data, organize it, and generate client-ready reports and AI-assisted commentary. Finvue is a productivity tool — it is not an accounting, tax, legal, or financial advisory service.
2. Early Access service
Finvue is currently offered as an Early Access product. Features, pricing, limits, performance, and outputs may change, be interrupted, or be removed during the Early Access period. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
3. Your account and authorization
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
- You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and authorizations from your clients to upload their financial data to Finvue and/or to connect their QuickBooks Online accounts to Finvue on their behalf.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access.
4. Reports and AI-generated commentary
Finvue may generate reports, summaries, KPIs, narratives, and AI-assisted commentary based on the data you provide or connect. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving every report and any AI-generated content before sharing it with a client or any third party. Finvue does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal, or financial advice, and outputs should not be relied on as such.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload, import, or process data you are not authorized to access or use.
- Use Finvue to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its underlying systems.
- Resell, sublicense, or expose Finvue as a competing service.
- Upload malicious code or content, or interfere with other users' use of the service.
6. Subscription, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges in accordance with the plan you select. Trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prior charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Third-party services
Finvue integrates with third-party services, including QuickBooks Online (Intuit), Stripe (payments), and AI model providers used to generate commentary. Your use of those services through Finvue is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services.
8. Your data
You retain ownership of the financial data you upload or connect to Finvue. You grant Finvue a limited license to host, process, and transmit that data solely to operate and improve the service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Finvue is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all threats, or that outputs will be accurate or complete.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finvue LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid Finvue in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
11. Termination
You may stop using Finvue and cancel your subscription at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute terms) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you in-product or by email. Continued use of Finvue after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
